The laser is adjusted for size, power and pulse frequency to optimize the treatment. The patient is required to wear special glasses designed to protect the eyes from sharp laser light. The treatment provider will focus the laser energy on targeted hair follicles using a hand-held device. The length of a single treatment session can vary according to the size of the area to be treated.
